Election Day

So I had to vote with an absentee ballot and mailed it in too early to do this assignment. I ideally would have liked to take a photo of this. I struggled with this election, and I wanted to show my thought process. So I wrote this poem as a response.

Election Day 08′

Today is a day that will go down in history.

I hope I made the right decision.

I want change for this nation.

But how much change do I want?

My views have changed recently, will they change back?

Did I make the right decision?

I did for right now, but is it right forever?

A day that will change our nation forever.

A day for change. A day for decisions.

A day for an endless amount of questions…
